The Charter denoting Delta XI as the 300th key note Chapter for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated at Central State University (“CSU”) became effective on November 13, 1951. The founding line was comprised of 12 distinguished members.

Since its inception date, Delta XI Chapter has initiated in excess of 300 brothers into Alpha Phi Alpha.

Graduate and undergraduate brothers of Delta XI Chapter have re-established a strong bond. Activities include an annual off campus conference as well as sustained lines of communication via an e-mail link. Various committees have been formed to accomplish various objectives including: Alumni and College Relations, Homecoming, Finance, Fund Raising, Historian, Strategic Initiatives, Communications, Awards and Recognition, Brotherhood Reclamation, and Spiritual Development.

Over the years, the Delta Xi chapter has lived by the "Motto" and
"Aims" of this great Fraternity. Brothers of this chapter have initiated
great ideas. Always the First of All to put their ideas into motion. Recognized as one of the most notable chapters to display community service campus wide and in the area communities, Delta Xi strives to become Servants of All.
